Valuable Resources

As I come across what I consider valuable resources I will list them here. If you know of others, I ask you to submit them to me so that I may list them.

Photographer’s Market – A publication with 640 pages of thousands of up-to-date listings of outlets for your work. Whether you are a commercial or fine art photographer, just thumbing through the book will open your eyes to opportunities you have not considered. In addition to the listings, it tells you how to make contact and provides insight into the practices of submitting your work for consideration.

The Center for Fine Art Photography – Dedicated to promoting the art of photography, the Center has a history of exhibitions juried by some of the most recognized and credible authorities in our business. Inclusion of an exhibition at the Center on your bio will be an asset when approaching galleries.

Red Dog Journal – A blog and enews letter published by Tim Anderson, former publisher of CameraArts magazine. Red Dog Journal is chuck full of news about our industry

Imaging Buffett – a website and blog run by Andrew Darlow who is an authority on many technical aspects of photography and the publisher of 301 Inkjet Tips and Techniques.

Photolucida – Located in Portland Oregon, Photolucida hosts Critical Mass annually and a week-long review session semi-annually.

Fine Print Imaging - Without a doubt amongst the most dedicated professionals whose printing of your work always meets and most often exceeding your expectations.
